Air Dispatch in load control World first.
In what is believed to be a “world first” Air Dispatch took its CLC onto the road. As part of a demonstration at the recent Amadeus Airport Event in Cannes, France Air Dispatch relocated part of its CLC to the conference venue at the Pullman Mandelieu Hotel. Using the Hotel WI FI network and a standard laptop the CLC deputy manager Petr Henych produced load sheets in real time and transmitted them via ACARS direct to the flight deck. One airline commented “I found this one of the highlights of the Amadeus showcase”.
Air Dispatch Managing Director Nick Yeadon commented that this really showed the versatility of Air Dispatch and the Altea System that we were able to accomplish this with a minimum of planning and no disruption. At the event Air Dispatch was able to demonstrate that significant fuel savings from its CLC during the month of January and that we had passed the 50,000 load sheet milestone.
