Air Dispatch CLC passed 40,000 loadsheet milestone
This week the Air Dispatch Centralised Load Control unit located in Prague passed the 40,000 load sheet milestone. The unit is operating with a 99.9% on time delivery performance and is now producing around 1000 load sheets per week.
This figure was passed on the same day that the Finnair contingency procedures were put into effect in a live situation for the first time. Following the recent closure of Bangkok Airport following protests Air Dispatch Prague took over the production of a significant proportion of the Bangkok CLC’s flights whilst they relocated their operation to a downtown location. Air Dispatch and the Bangkok CLC operator regularly swap flights to keep the staff current on the various aircraft types and procedural differences and it was a testament to this that the transfer went off with out a hitch.
Jiri Krakora the manager of the unit has also become a part time tour guide with a different airline visiting the facility every couple of weeks. Jiri commented that there was a high level of interest in the Altea product and our CLC and that a recent study with a medium sized carrier showed a “six figure thousands” US Dollar saving by outsourcing.
